Estately.com revealed a list of the things each state googled more than any other state this year.

2015 has been a crazy year for everyone. There were terrorist attacks, devastating storms, shocking celebrity splits, political scandals, and nationwide controversies.

Did anything good happen? On the national level, it's hard to tell. Thanks to those states who had people Googling fun things, like Georgia - "Whip Dance", South Dakota - "Fitbit", and Maine - "Amy Schumer". Special shout out to Wisconsin, where a lot of people were wondering, "What does 'bae' mean?" I hope Google was able to answer that question, Wisconsin.

It's no surprise that Texans were all about the big stories this year.
Here are the ten things Texans googled more than anyone else in 2015, according to Google Trends:

  • James Harden (basketball player)
  • Bandidos Motorcycle Club
  • Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán
  • Hurricane Patricia
  • Clock boy (14-year-old Texas student Ahmed Mohamed who was arrested after bringing a homemade clock to school)
  • Planned Parenthood video
  • Lion hunting
  • Miranda Lambert divorce
  • Jade Helm
  • Filibuster
