Thursday is National Red Nose Day To End Poverty

We always hear about other countries dealing with childhood poverty, but the fact is that there thousands of children here in the US that are dealing with hunger issues.  Red Nose day is suppose to make it a fun way to address a serious issue.
People across the country are being asked to come together to have fun, raise awareness and funds.

NBC is going to be airing a three-hour entertainment TV special featuring the country's favorite comedians, musicians and Hollywood stars.

All the money raised will go into the Red Nose fund and then distributed to different charities that help children and young people in some of the poorest neighborhoods in the country and around the world.

So grab a red nose, have fun and start raising awareness of child poverty.
