The Erwin Pawn Tradio Show Had A Blast With Fireworks

We spent a lot of time this last Saturday on The Erwin Pawn Tradio Show getting ready for July 4th.  We did manage to bring a whole community of buyers and sellers together too.

I think Wednesday is about the worst day possible to have July 4th.  Who's idea was it anyway?  Tuesday might be a little worse that Wednesday but either way it throws a big dent in the festivities.

We decided to discuss fireworks amongst all the phone calls starting with The Big Question.

THE BIG QUESTION

We have a weekly poll question we ask callers before they give us their items.  I was curious with what firework plans you had.

DO YOU POP YOUR OWN FIREWORKS OR DO YOU WATCH THE CITY DISPLAY?

I know for me it is hard to pop my own due to the expense and having no where to go other than trespassing on somebody's land.  I like to watch.

We had one caller say they didn't much care for fireworks. I put them in a third category reserved for Tories and Monarchists.

RULE #6

I bring you a special Rule #6 after the five primary rules of the show.  It changes every week and this time it is a constructive rule but unfortunately many will break it.

RULE #6 TAKE YOUR SPENT FIREWORK TRASH WITH YOU.

If you do choose to go shoot fireworks off yourself this Wednesday keep a few things in mind.  If you are on someone's land that you don't know you might be trespassing.  And when you are done, take your garbage with you.  It's always a sad sight on July 5th driving into town and seeing the wasteland of discarded and used fireworks.  Have your fun but do your part!
