Erwin Pawn Tradio Show doesn't entertain telemarketers

We enjoyed another Saturday of buying, selling and trading on the last Erwin Pawn Tradio Show.

The show where you can buy and sell pretty much anything was a busy affair, full of great items both big and small. It's want ads on the radio and we do it every Saturday beginning at 9am.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items. There is a phone scam making the rounds in Amarillo. The scammers claim to be selling advertising from the City of Amarillo. The city wants you to know they don't sell advertising. On the show, we were curious how many of you talked to telemarketers when they call.

Not many Tradio callers will be falling to phone scammers since they refuse to entertain them.

RULE #6

We start each hour off with the specific rules of the program. There are five regular rules and a sixth that changes every week. It is usually inspired by something that has happened to me over the previous week.

Last week I was on vacation. It was actually a staycation. I had some chores I wanted to address and I wanted to get some recreation time in also. Since I didn't want to be too pressed to get the chores done I maintained a good balance of working and resting. I thought it would make a good rule #6.

Rule #6: Maintain a good balance of productivity and lethargy.
