The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Wonders If You Turned Up The Heat

We open up the phone lines and the airwaves to you every Saturday morning from nine to noon. It's The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon and we have a lot of fun bringing it to you.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Last week we had our first cold snap on Friday night.  It was pretty cold.  It got us to wondering whether or not you had turned on the heat to beat back the unseasonably cold weather.

Almost right down the middle!  I broke down and turned my heat on but since Friday night I've been able to go without heat or air conditioning.  Take that Xcel and Atmos.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special rule #6.  This week we kept with the cold theme and offered a rule that was a tip for winterizing your vehicle for the cold season.

Rule #6: Consult your cars owners manual for the proper mix of antifreeze and water. (60% antifreeze and 40% water for most vehicles)
