The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Wonders About Cabbage

The show that turns the airwaves over to you, allowing you to buy, sell and trade had another useful and interesting outing last Saturday.

We call it The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon and we like to think it's the most useful program for the listener than any other.  We do it every Saturday starting at 9am and as always you are encouraged to call or sit back a listen to all the great bargains.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Sometimes it's topical and others it's right out of left field.  We are fond of food questions and that is the direction we went in last week.

Cabbage is a pretty tasty vegetable and there are many ways to prepare it.  We were curious what your preference was between two different types.

Which do you prefer, Cole slaw or Sauerkraut?

It's always a good question when it is virtually split 50/50.  Personally I love Cole slaw but find Sauerkraut revolting.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special Rule #6.  It changes every week and is usually inspired by something that has happened to me over the previous week.  This time, it was inspired by the happenings before the show.

We get to the station pretty early to get the show ready to go.  But this week we didn't have enough time to get everything done that we needed to get done before the show.  Unfortunately I ran out of time on Friday and put some tasks off to Saturday.  Saturday was a disaster were computers were concerned.  It really cut into our show prep time.

Rule #6 There's never enough time.  Make the most of your time.
