Another Saturday of buying, selling, and trading has been completed.  This time with health advice.

The show that boldly goes where many have gone before, Saturday mornings are made for Trade-A-Thon.  It's your opportunity to buy, sell, and trade.  We do it every Saturday and you are always invited.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  It helps us get to know them better and provides a running stream of thought during the show.  It helps tie all our great callers together.

Autumn is upon us and with the change in weather comes the attack of the flu. Being in the radio business and with few employees available to cover any given employee due to illness, I get the flu shot every year.  This week we were curious if you had gotten yours.

Have you gotten your flu shot?

Yes 5

No 29

Looks like a lot of our callers are at risk.  Many said they were planning on getting the inoculation while others have sworn off the vaccine for various reasons.  Shot or not, here's hoping you can avoid being sick this season.

Rule #6

At the beginning of every hour we discuss the rules of the program.   It helps keep everyone on the same page and provides an initiation of sorts for people new to the program.

I also bring you a special rule #6 that changes every week.  Sometimes inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week, this week I took inspiration from shenanigans between Amarillo High and Caprock.

Instead on trying to peel back the onion on this story, I had just 0one simple comment on the whole affair and it made for this week's rule #6.

Rule #6: You can't be a little bit racist.

Just like you can't be a little bit pregnant or a little bit married, racism doesn't come in shades of gray.

See you next Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
