The show that allows you to buy, sell, and trade took to the airwaves again last Saturday.

It's want ads on the radio and you are sure to hear something you want.  It works very simple.  You call in and tell us what you have to sell and give out your phone number.  Then the greater Amarillo Metroplex beats a path to your phone.

THE BIG QUESTION

We as all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  It's an effort to better get to know you and provides a stream of thought throughout the show.

With all the snow hitting the eastern United States it got me to thinking about how most of us buy as much as we can at the store and hunker in until the worst of the storm is over.

Often this comes with a hearty stew or a warming chili.  I was curious which was your cold weather preference.

What's your cold weather favorite, stew or chili?

Stew 12

Chili 21

Almost two-to-one our callers preferred chili.  Personally, I'll take the chili.

RULE #6

Along with the special rules of the program I always bring you a special Rule #6.  It changes every week and is often inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week.

This week I noticed a couple of warning labels and I thought they would make a perfect rule for this weeks show.

It's important to use Trade-A-Thon for its intended purpose and it's important to be persistent.  Just because you didn't have success one week doesn't mean the perfect person for your item just might be listening next week.

Rule #6 Apply on to affected areas.  Rinse and repeat.

See you Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
