The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Predicts Snow Before Easter

The show that turns the airwaves over to you in an attempt to bring buyers and sellers together had another successful outing Saturday.

It's want ads on the radio and we do it every Saturday.  It's the Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon. Think of it as your personal tool in the resale business.  Don't stare at the stuff you no longer need; put it up for sale on Trade-A-Thon.

THE BIG QUESTION

We had a rare episode of two questions this week.  Our first question was a contest to win Arenacross tickets and we simply wanted to know if you wanted to win.  Congratulations to Justin, he was the lucky winner.

Our second question was one of the weather.  This week the weather is going to be outstanding and some might think winter is behind us.  Until we've got Easter in the rear view mirror however, snow is still a very real possibility.  We wanted to know what you thought.

Will it snow again before Easter, Sunday April 5th?

As you can see, many people subscribe to the "one more before Easter" theory.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special Rule #6.  It is usually inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week.  That was the case this time.

Wednesday I received a letter from someone who claimed they got scammed by a man selling washers and dryers on Trade-A-Thon.  She want to make me aware of the man and hoped we could avoid anyone else getting taken in the future.

Unfortunately we are on the honor system and sometimes people just aren't very honorable.  It got me to thinking about a rule.

Rule #6: Caveat Emptor. Let the buyer beware. Test items before purchase if possible.  If something feels suspicious or doesn't seem right, walk away.
