The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Likes Bacon

It was another item filled Saturday of buying, selling and trading on The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.

It's the show where you can buy and sell pretty much anything but guns and ammunition.  We do it every Saturday morning.  All it takes to participate is to have something to sell or need and a free phone call to get your need on the air.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  This week I had bacon on the brain.  It truly is one of my favorite meats.  I especially like it on a hamburger.  We were curious if our callers felt the same way.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special Rule #6.  It changes every week and is usually inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week.

I was at a local sandwich establishment last week and none of the sandwiches fit my particular mood that day.  What I really wanted was a BLT.  And although said establishment didn't have a BLT on their regular menu I ordered one anyway.  They have plenty of sandwiches with bacon, I figured an off-the-menu BLT would be an easy make.

I was wrong.  Didn't come with enough bacon for half a sandwich, much less a full one.  That sounds like good inspiration for a rule.

Rule #6: Don't order off menu BLT's.
