The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Eats Ice Cream & Cake

The weekend show that brings buyers and sellers together was back at it on Saturday.

It's called The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon and we do it every Saturday from 9 to noon.  It's want ads on the radio and you always have a place.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing.  Sometimes the question is topical but this week it was about spring.

This week we asked you to separate two spring time favorites and decide on the best one, presuming you could only have one.

Most everyone is ready for a bowl, scoop, or dip of the frozen treat.  Many people had trouble separating the two but when pressed most chose ice cream.

RULE #6

We have five regular rules of conduct on the show and we recite those at the beginning of every hour.  I also bring you a special Rule #6 that changes every week.

This week Amarillo's Largest Garage Sale was in full swing during the show.  It's somewhat a News Talk 940 event and we discussed it a lot.  It got me to thinking about all the breakables for sale and how something gets broken every year.  Sounds like the makings of a good rule.
