The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon & Civic Center Nachos

We took off the gloves, and sold them on Saturday's Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.

It's the show that turns the airwaves over to you and invites you to buy, sale, and trade.  We do it every Saturday from 9am-noon.

It was also the second and final day of Amarillo's Largest Garage Sale.  We hosted over 60 garage sales all under the North Exhibit roof last Friday and Saturday.  We had live reports from Angel Dee from 96.9 Kiss FM during the show.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  With Amarillo's Largest Garage Sale going on and as we were feeling very hungry.

It got us to thinking about the culinary curiosity known as Civic Center Nachos.  With the Yankee cheese, Canadian jalapenos, Texarkana tortilla chips, served in a Styrofoam container sourced from the West Indies, they are truly nachos with an international flair.  We were curious if you had ever experienced this concession stand staple as performed by the Civic Center's concession stand.

Many of you are obviously missing out.  Whenever I'm at the Civic Center and I see somebody walking around with a fistful of nachos, I always have to get some for myself.
