The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Chooses Rest

A Labor Day weekend edition of The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon is now history.  A good time was had by all.

It's the show that's live without a net and invites you to call in every Saturday morning from 9a-noon to sell the belongings you have, no longer need, but still have value.  As always you can simply kick back and listen.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they list their items.  Sometimes a question with no obvious inspiration this week we went topical.  Being a holiday weekend and the last of the summer, we were curious how you were going to spend it.

Most of our Trade-A-Thon callers planned to take advantage of the extra day to get some extra rest.  Not me.  I went crazy over the holiday and now I'm paying the price.  Tuesday feels more like a Monday than a Monday usually does.

RULE #6

At the start of every hour I bring you the official rules of the program.  This way everyone is on the same page and knows how the show works.  I also bring you a special Rule #6 that changes every week.  Sometimes inspired by something that has happened to me over the previous week, this week we went with a rule of grilling as we expected many grills to be fired up over the holiday.

Rule #6: Cook hamburgers to a minimum of 160 degrees and are cooked well done.
