The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Believes They Are On The “Nice” List

The final Trade-A-Thon before Christmas is in the books and hopefully you had as much fun as we did.

It's the show where you can buy, sell, and trade.  We do it every Saturday on KIXZ and as always you are invited to call or simply kick back and listen.  It's want ads on the radio and our primary goal is bringing buyers and sellers together.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  This week with Christmas coming before our next show, we wanted to know which of Santa's lists you were on.

Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?

As you can see, our callers mostly believe they are firmly on Santa's "nice" list.  I think our callers have short memories.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program, I always bring you a special rule #6.  It is usually inspired by something that has happened to me over the previous week and sometimes it's just silly.

This week I was remembering an incident that happened to me about a month ago.  I was waiting in the drive thru line at Walgreens to pick up some prescriptions.  I was with my mother and grandmother.

The line was taking a while to move and people were getting impatient.  On man in particular go so impatient he began dropping f-bombs at the top of his lungs.  I'm not sure my grandmother had even heard that word before.  It was pretty uncomfortable.

The incident inspired a rule for the show.

Rule 6: Profanity in movies is humorous, profanity in public is disrespectful.  A movie audience expects it, in public we endure it.
