We live in the middle of cattle country.   It's one thing to see a ton of cattle in the fields we pass or the feed yards in our towns, but its another to see great beasts stroll down Polk Street.  One of the great things about the start to summer is the Coors Cowboy Club annual cattle drive.

The Cattle Drive will begin at 6pm, on Thursday, May 31st.

The route is as follows:

The drive will begin at 11th and Polk Streets at 6 p.m.; go north on Polk to 3rd; east on 3rd to Taylor, then south on Taylor to 6th; at 6th turn east to Buchanan, then north on Buchanan to 3rd; east on 3rd to Marrs; south on Marrs to 10th; east on 10th to the Tri-State Fairgrounds.

Make plans to bring the family out to see this amazing sight.  Come line the streets and witness these beautiful longhorns make their way down Polk Street.  I mean, when was the last time you saw a herd of longhorns in the middle of a downtown.  ,

Don't forget to bring your cameras.  The photo contest is back and a shot of the amazing cattle drive could win you some awesome prizes.

The Coors Cowboy Cattle Drive is the official kick off to the Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo.
