The Amarillo Zoo Wants Your Kids To Go Around The World In 5 Days

If you have children then they are probably driving you nuts by now.  During the summer months its hard to keep them occupied and entertained.  The Amarillo zoo wants to help you with their different summer camps.

The next week of camp takes place from July 8-12th.  This week's theme is Around the World in 5 Days. This is the opportunity for your kids to learn about animals from Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas.

Animals from all over the globe are explored giving you a chance to meet some exotic animals without ever leaving the Zoo!

Kids in the camp will discover the world of wildlife through arts, crafts, outdoor games, and hands-on activities. The will get the chance to meet animal care experts, take behind the scenes tours, and see animals up-close.

Each camp week is limited to 15 campers so register early! Advance registration is required. Call 381-5605 for more information.  Camp is available for kids ages 6-12.  It takes place Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm.  For more information go to amarillozoo.org.
