Driving can be fun or a nightmare.  Jumping in the car and going on a road trip is fun.  Driving in the massive amounts of construction in our town is a nightmare. Driving across Texas takes forever but there is amazing and beautiful scenery across the state.  Driving in the big cities is a nightmare.

So when it comes to driving in Texas, I guess we have it lucky.

When it comes to the best state in the country to drive in, WalletHub and their study found that Texas is the Best State in the Country to drive in.   Here's where they landed in some of the categories.

How did WalletHub decided this?  Well to determine the most driver-friendly states in the U.S., WalletHub compared the 50 states across 23 key metrics. The data set ranges from average gas prices to share of rush-hour traffic congestion to road quality.
