The Texas Air & Space Museum will commemorate the life of Rick Husband tomorrow.

Space shuttle Columbia Commander Rick Husband, an Amarillo native died February 1st, 2003 when the spacecraft disintegrated on reentry.  Tomorrow the Texas Air & Space Museum will have a special exhibit highlighting Husband's life and career as an astronaut.

The exhibit will feature a shuttle training plane that Husband flew with other related items on display.  Visitors can watch shuttle related videos and take a tour of the aircraft.  The Gulfstream jet features instrumentation similar to the shuttle.

Also on display will be Husband's Chevy Camaro, a T-38 flight suit and other artifacts from shuttle missions.

The museum is at 10001 America Drive and will be open 10am-4pm.  Admission is free but donations are gladly accepted.
