I get the whole saying, "kids will be kids," however I don't know if it is because I'm older I just shake my head at a new trend to get high.  Kids are using lip balm on their eye lids to get high, it is called "Beezin".

I don't think I will ever understand the evil that dwells inside of some people.  Especially, when that evil destroys a small child.  A 5-year old boy was found inside a closet beaten and malnourished and still in a diaper.  He was found by his 16-year old brother who apparently doesn't live in the household.

You know I do not get riled up about many things but this video really ticked me off to the point I had tears running down my checks.  A 5th grade Michigan teacher by the name of Nicole McVey decided it was appropriate to record a video of one of her  students who as Asperger's Syndrome after he got stuck in a chair.  Not only that, the principal of the school decided to join in teasing the boy. 

I love it when people running our schools know how to have a little fun.  Boone County Schools in Kentucky got a little creative after so many school closings due to cold weather.  Check it out for a chuckle.

When it comes to social media, I'll see someone post something, but when I see it pop up on my feeds several times then I know it is something amazing.  This morning I finally clicked on a link about  The Drop Box.

Do you remember the McDonald's hot coffee lawsuit from the 90s.  You know the one about the old lady putting a hot cup of coffee between her legs, drives off and it spills all over her, then she sues McDonald's for over $2M.  We have all joked about the absurdity of that lawsuit.  Did you know, that really isn't the true story of what happened.

So, over the 4th of July Holiday a lot of people went out to cool off at their local water parks.  One woman did just that at a water park in Missouri, however her day of fun didn't end that way because she was thrown out of the park for wearing her bikini.

I am the worst when it comes to getting a song in my head.  It happens every day.  That sneaky little tune that plays over and over inside my head.  Most of the time Rick instigates the song that gets stuck in my head, sometimes, it something I heard on Spongebob that morning..  However, when that earworm starts tapping his toes I start going crazy.
