Josh Donaldson scored from second base when Rougned Odor threw wildly on a double-play relay in the 10th inning, and the Blue Jays beat the Texas Rangers, 7-6, to complete a three-game sweep of the 2016 American League Division Series in Toronto on Sunday night.
The Rangers had gone back to back with two power bats, and that left Elvis Andrus, who had a two-RBI single in the first inning at the plate. Elvis left the building when he launched one past the fence.
For the first time in the 2015 season, the Texas Rangers have winning record. The push to get above .500 on the season came in dramatic fashion on Sunday, with some help from a guy who was supposed to be getting the day off.
