This is what we have resorted to. Defending the border against Mexican drug cartels and violent illegals by using bean bag guns. They are firing at our border agents (killing one recently) with AK 47's and we have to use bean bag guns in order to be politically correct. And now it turns out that there is opposition to the use of those! What a joke.
