A female body was found Saturday, June 10th in the southwest area of Blue Sky Airport on South Washington Street The investigation into her death is still ongoing. The autopsy was scheduled Tuesday in Lubbock.

An 18 year old girl lead the Amarillo Police on a stolen vehicle police chase yesterday that ended in a blown tire and wreck. The vehicle was warming up in the owner's driveway on the 2000 block of S Fairfield in Amarillo, when the female decided it was the perfect time for a joyride. Why can't a person just let their car warm up in their own driveway without worrying about somebody stealing it?
A routine traffic stop transformed into so much more today in Amarillo. Amarillo Police officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at the 1500 block of S Grand. Both a male and female suspect we arrested after APD officers located numerous items that appeared to have been stolen. How does something "appear" stolen? I wish I had an answer for that.
