Michael Carter-Williams scored 24 points, and fourth-seeded Syracuse beat top-seeded Indiana, 61-50, in the 2013 NCAA tournament's East Regional semifinals in Washington, D.C. on Thursday night. The Orange started the game with a 20-9 run over nearly 14 minutes, and they never let the Hoosiers get settled. C.J. Fair added 11 points and nine rebounds for Syracuse, which advanced to play Marquette for the East Regional title on Saturday. Victor Oladipo scored 16 points to pace Indiana.
