Robbery suspects in jail and children have been taken by CPS. Sometimes I wonder what makes people do things that put their children at risk.

Amarillo, TX – Two people are in custody and three children are safe following a police standoff in north Amarillo. The short standoff came to an end in the San Jacinto area of Amarillo just before 5:00 Wednesday afternoon.

Police tell us one person arrested may be a one of three suspects involved in an armed robbery earlier Wednesday afternoon on SE 10th street in Amarillo.

In this case, I feel so sorry for the children who have to go through something like this, especially during the holidays. My hope is that they are too young to remember this and that they are well taken care of in the future.
