Super Bowl To Be Streamed Online For First Time

The Super Bowl already boasts the biggest audience of the year.  And you can expect even more eyeballs because the Super Bowl is going on the go.

The NFL announced today that The Big Game will be streamed online and to phones for the first time this year.  NBC's playoff broadcasts will be available through the NFL and NBC website's and on Verizon's mobile app.

NBC has streamed its Sunday Night Football broadcasts online for four years now.  The network has found that the streaming compliments their television audience rather than take from it.

21 million people watch SNF on average while up to 300,000 stream it.
