West Texas A&M head football coach Hunter Hughes announced spring football practice will begin Mar. 23 at the football practice fields on the WT campus.

The Buffs will have 15 total practices with three practices scheduled for Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.

Following the first practice on the 23rd, the second is scheduled for Mar. 25 at 3 p.m. at the practice field, while the rest of the weekday practices through the spring season (Tues. & Thurs.) will be at 7 a.m. and the Sunday practices will be at 3 p.m.  The first practice in Kimbrough is set for Friday, April 6 at 6 p.m., followed the next Friday (Apr. 13) and the Spring Game is set for Friday, Apr. 20 at 6 p.m., also at Kimbrough.

Practices are open to the public as are the ones in Kimbrough.

The Buffs will open the 2018 season at Azusa Pacific on Sept. 1, 2018, in Glendora, Calif.  The Buffs will play five games in the final year in Kimbrough Memorial Stadium beginning with Oklahoma Panhandle State on Sept. 8 at 6 p.m.
