HOUSTON (AP) — A skull and some bones have been found in northwest Houston and police are trying to identify the person.

Police say some people living in the area near some woods called 911 on Monday night to report finding a skull and what appears to be part of a jaw. Several other bones were discovered nearby.

Houston police on Tuesday said several articles of clothing and a wallet were also recovered.

An autopsy has been ordered.

Sgt. Robert Torres says police are reviewing reports of two people reported missing in the area in separate incidents over the past few months.
