Six Degrees Of Separation Lowered To Four

If you've ever played Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon know the game just got easier.

Tracing an actor's movie roles attempting to connect them to Kevin Bacon is a fun pastime.  It's made its way into national ad campaigns and the subconscious as a whole.

But thanks to Facebook the game may need a facelift.

The game is based on the belief that any two individuals can be linked by no more than six degrees or relationships.

Now a new study shows that of Facebook's 721 million active users they are all linked on average by four degrees of separation.
