Shop With A Cop In Canyon!

Walmart and the Randall County justice system are making 100 underprivileged children's Christmas dreams come true.

Shop With A Cop has been a Canyon tradition for 10 years. Each year, Walmart donates $50.00 gift cards for 100 underprivileged children who are nominated by CISD school counselors. Officers and employees from the Canyon Police Department, Canyon Fire Department, Randall County Sheriff's Office, and Randall County Fire Department volunteer to escort the children while they shop. They may choose whatever Christmas gift they want.

This year's Shop With A Cop will take place on Saturday, December 5th beginning at 8 a.m. They will be shopping at the Canyon Walmart on Hunsley Road.

Canyon will also be hosting their Christmas celebration on Saturday. There will be a parade, pictures with Santa, and other fun holiday festivities.
