Several Agencies Team Up To Extinguish Wildfire North Of Borger

A large wildfire yesterday was extinguished with the help of multiple responders.

The fire happened on the Turkey Track Ranch near Dixon Creek.  The smoke from the fire was easily visible from Amarillo.

The Tuesday afternoon fire was put out with the help of responders from Borger, Stinnett, Hutchinson County and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fire consumed over 300 acres before it was put out.
