Semi crashes into Amarillo McDonald's, seven sent to hospital

A multi-vehicle crash at Amarillo Boulevard and North Pierce last night.

According to police just before 10pm Tuesday a white Honda was headed east on Amarillo Boulevard when a semi entered the intersection and hit the Honda. The car then spun away and the truck continued south, crossing a curb hitting a Ford Explorer on the west side of the McDonald's at 400 Amarillo Boulevard.

The crash pushed the Explorer through the west wall of of the building, the truck also entered the building and rolled over on top of the vehicle.

Seven people total, including drivers of the Explorer and Semi were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
