A disturbing incident of street violence happened on Saturday.

Saturday night Amarillo Police were called out to the scene of a shooting in the 800 block on South Hill.

Witnesses told police that four teenage males had been standing in the street disrupting the flow of traffic.  A vehicle stopped and a passenger got out to confront the group.

That's when one of the males pulled a gun a shot the victim in the pelvis.  The four males then fled the area on foot.  The victim was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
