Early Tuesday morning the Studio One Adult Store at 9000 Triangle Drive was robbed.

The suspect entered the business and announced the robbery.  He demanded money from the register.  The suspect was holding his hand as though he had a gun concealed in his clothing.  The employee did not comply fast enough and the suspect walked around the counter and helped himself to the cash.

The victim then retrieved a handgun and ordered the man to stop.  The suspect then fled the business and the victim followed.  The suspect then got into a minivan cab and left.  The victim fired one shot in the air and then a second shot attempting to shoot out a tire on the taxi.

Amarillo police quickly located the cab and pulled it over.  Inside they found the suspect and he was taken into custody.  The driver told police he believed his fare had a disagreement with the owner of the store.  The driver was interviewed and released.

46-year-old Duane Lamont Alexander was booked into Potter County.  Officers did not recover a weapon but did find the money taken in the robbery.
