Regional Hunger Initiative Office Coming To Amarillo
Baylor University has announced the opening of 12 regional offices around Texas to fight against hunger with the Hunger Initiative.
One of the regional offices will be coming to Amarillo. The Hunger Initiative’s goal is to find a way to end hunger in Texas and to provide a model for ending hunger in the rest of the country.
Local non-profit organizations look to be the immediate recipients of benefits as the Baylor effort is a collaborative one that will work with existing organizations already fighting hunger.
