NEW YORK (AP) — The roommate of a pregnant New York City woman killed by a snowplow says the victim loved her family.

Min Lin was hit by a utility vehicle plowing snow during Thursday's storm. She was rushed to Maimonides (muh-MAHN'-uh-deez) Medical Center, where her nearly full term baby was delivered in critical condition.

Roommate Song Qing Huang told the Daily News (http://nydn.us/1hgnSuO ) that Lin and her husband also have a 5-year-old son, Kevin.

Huang said Lin was nervous about going out in the storm and considered staying inside. But Huang said Lin decided to go out with her husband because she had an appointment with her obstetrician.

Huang said Lin was "a very good woman" who was happy about the new baby.
