Pampa Man Arrested & Charged With Child Pornography

Pampa man Juan Garcia Perez, 44, has been arrested and charged with child pornography. On January 19 the Texas Department of Public Safety issued an arrest warrant for Perez.

According to Lieutenant Terry Cox, the troopers that made the arrest after an investigation led officials to child pornography.

"The troopers did not ask for our assistance, made the arrest in the city limits and showed up at the salle-port to book in the suspect." Cox said.

Perez was booked with a $25,000 bond and released on the 19th. Perez is facing charges of child pornography, a third degree felony, and carries a sentence of two to ten years in prison.
