Pair Arrested In Amarillo Drive By Shooting

An Amarillo drive by shooting has resulted in the arrest of two suspects.

Tuesday evening at around 7pm APD officers heard gun shots in the downtown area.  After investigating the area they were flagged down by witnesses near Jackson and 2nd street.  The witnesses informed police the a small gray car had just left the area, it's occupants firing into a house.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police eventually located a suspect vehicle.  The occupants of the vehicle were taken back to the scene and identified by witnesses.  APD then arrested Michael Anthony Reyes, 18 and Eric Matthew Benwire on various charges.
