Overnight Fire Leaves Amarillo Family With No Place To Stay

Amarillo firefighters are investigating a late night house fire.

Around 11:30pm last night Amarillo firefighters were called to 1907 North Spring on a report of a structure fire.  The fire was in the rear part of the house.  Firefighters had the fire extinguished my midnight.

No injuries were reported but unfortunately the damage was extensive enough to cause the family to be displaced from the home.

Authorities suspect the fire was an electrical one but are still investigating.
