Oklahoma State University Basketball Coaches, Kurt Budke & Miranda Serna, Die In Plane Crash

Two OSU coaches, Kurt Budke & Miranda Serna, died in a plane crash in Arkansas. The two coaches were on a recruiting trip and flying a private charter plane.

Two others, besides the OSU coaches were killed in the plane crash, including the pilot.

“The Oklahoma State family is devastated by this tragedy,” said OSU President Burns Hargis. “Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of Kurt Budke, Miranda Serna and the other victims.

OSU President Mike Holder spoke of the two in the most amazing fashion, talking about how Budke had turned the Ladies Basketball program completely around and that coach Serna was a tireless worker and great recruiter.
