Naked Man Flees Northwest Texas Hospital, Attempts Car Jackings

A man being treated at Northwest Texas Hospital fled the facility on Saturday.

Russell Scott Saylor, 36 was naked when he left the hospital.  He approached several people in the parking lot demanding the keys to their vehicles.  Unsuccessful in any attempt to obtain a vehicle he took off on foot to 1500 South Coulter.

Hospital staff and security were able to catch up with Saylor.  When police arrived at the hospital they found Saylor suffering from injuries he sustained when he attempted to climb through the ceiling and fell through to the ground.

Saylor was booked into Potter County for two counts of robbery, outstanding warrants for unlawful possession of a firearm and evading arrest or detention with a prior conviction.
