More Student-Athletes Sign to Play College Sports
More local high school student-athletes have made it official, signing letters of intent to play at the next level.
Record-setting Tascosa distance runner Wes McPhail has signed to run track for Texas A&M. McPhail chose the Aggies over Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Michigan. He still has his senior season to go next spring for the Rebels.
One of the most prolific Quarterbacks in the area, Bushland's Colton Moore, will play baseball for a Division One program. Moore signed with Texas State in San Marcos.
Two local high school baseball players have signed with West Texas A&M. Amarillo High teammates Caleb Flores and Mason Mays signed yesterday with the Buffs along with another freshman and three junior college players.
