More Penn State Trials Underway
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Attorneys in the case of two Penn State administrators accused of perjury and failing to report child sex abuse allegations have wrapped up arguments on pretrial motions.
The judge overseeing the case made no immediate rulings Thursday in the case connected to former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.
Dauphin County President Judge Todd Hoover did not say when he would rule on motions, including requests by Athletic Director Tim Curley and retired Vice President Gary Schultz to dismiss charges.
Prosecutors say Curley and Schultz lied to a grand jury about what a graduate assistant told them about a 2001 assault he witnessed in a locker room shower.
Sandusky was convicted in June of abusing 10 boys. He remains behind bars awaiting sentencing.
