It looks almost like an invasion out at Rick Husband Airport.

With hail and possible tornadoes expected today in Oklahoma the decision was made to move some aircraft from Altus Air Force Base to Amarillo where they will presumably be safer.  The planes and their crew are from the 97th Air Mobility Wing of AAFB and being housed in Amarillo until the threat of severe weather passes.  Of course, we never get severe weather here.

Some of the planes at Rick Husband Airport include a C-17 Globemaster, KC-135 Stratotanker and the KC-46A Pegasus.

Those planes are key to the core of the US Military's aerial refueling capability, tactical airlift, and airdrop missions.
