The former Panamanian dictator has returned back to his homeland after 22 years. This time he is sitting in a jail cell.

Coming home after being extradited out of France, the former dictator was met with an atmosphere of indifference. It was no surprise that there were only a few protesters outside his homecoming.

Some people banged pots and protested his return in other ways, but most of the people on the streets of the capitol were taking part in holiday shopping.

Noriega served 17 years in the United States and two years in France for Money laundering. Now he is beginning to serve three 20 year sentences for the killing of political opponents in the 1980's.
