Man Pleads Guilty In 2014 Amarillo Murder

An Amarillo man has plead guilty to a murder committed in 2014 murder.

Tyrone Black fled the area after the murder and was eventually captured in Minnesota in 2015.  He was extradited back to Amarillo to face murder charges.

19-year-old Eric Smith was shot in the back of the head in the parking lot of the Paradise Club on North Filllmore as the club was closing.

Yesterday Black plead guilty in the murder and with the plea bargain will serve 30 years in prison.
