Police in Grapevine are still piecing together what happened at an apartment over the holiday.

The seven dead include the gunman, dressed as Santa.  The six victims were members of his family.

Police responded to the Lincoln Vineyards complex about 11:30am Sunday after receiving a 911 call in which no one was on the other end of the line.  Inside they found the seven dead, aged 15 to 60.  It appeared they were in the process of opening presents.

The last homicide in Grapevine was 2010.

There were other stories over the weekend of tragedy involved with those wearing the traditional suit.
