Local Bikers Shut Out Of Girl Scouts Bike Trail

Last week the Girl Scouts closed the bike trail on it's ranch property.

It's a little tougher being a mountain biker here in the panhandle.  One of only two trails available for riding has been closed for now.  Last fall the Girl Scouts announced they would be doing something different with the property.  It has been sold off to generate funds for other projects.

Presbyterian Home for Children purchased 100 acres, including the bike trails.  The Girl Scouts in response have closed the bike trails.

There is some hope the new owners will reopen the trail.
