What's the most interesting thing you've done?
Do you have any awards?
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
” I suppose a phone wouldn't count (laughing), so I would have to say a good book to read, take my best dog (Sammy) and my swimsuit.”
(ed note: Sammy is a rescue dog, who looks like Benji, and goes everywhere with her)
Who has been your occupational inspiration?
“Diane Sawyer. I heard her say once, and I'll never forget it, that as a good journalist 'You never stop asking the question, why?'. I remember, at the age of 14 I wanted to be a broadcaster. I interned in High School and remember watching a Diane Sawyer story that touched me and made me cry. From that day, I was hooked.”
What has been the weirdest job related question?
If you weren't a journalist/broadcaster, what would you be doing?
“I think I would have been an Elementary Teacher. Luckily, with my job, I get the best of both worlds. Every Thursday I do a 'Region 16 Spotlight Education Report,” so I get to hang around schools with wonderful children and teachers.”
What is something your viewers don't 'know' about you?
“I am a huge animal lover and all of my dogs are rescue animals.”
(ed note: Lindsey has 3 dogs: Sammy, Bandit and Dolce)
