If you have ever wanted to learn sign language and didn't know where to go or how to begin, here's your opportunity.

You will have the opportunity to learn sign language for free.  The classes will start on Monday, September 25th.

The classes will take place every Monday (expect October 9th), through November 6th.

The classes are from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and are open to all ages.

The classes will take place at Lamar Elementary, 3800 S. Lipscomb.

Following the classes each week they will have special guest speakers at 7:15pm.

Community Classes include:

Basic Sign Class:
Beginners learn basic signs including Numbers, ABC’s, Colors, Animals & Simple Sentences).

Intermediate Sign Class:
This class uses the English based sign system in a conversational way

Children’s Sign Class:
This class uses fun activities to teach kids sign language. Good for ages 0-4 and children ages 5-8. This is only available to parents taking other sign classes.

Parents of DHH Preschool Students:
This program is designed for parents with babies in the DHH program to learn beginning signs in different home situations.

Again classes are free, but you must RSVP.
