On History they've been retelling the story of Texas' fight for independence.  While in near Follett authorities were making history over the weekend.

Officials are calling it the largest marijuana grow bust in the history of Texas.  The field of illicit weed held nearly 110,000 plants.  The plants were cut down and destroyed.  The grow operation was located in Lipscomb County east of Follett.

The investigation began with a tip local authorities received that led to the involvement of several legal agencies who teamed up to execute the eradication.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is on-going.
